In May 2000 I was diagnosed with a serious illness and it completely turned my world on its ear. Although I had been involved in the fitness industry since I was a teen, I didn't pay much attention to what I was putting into my body. I could eat what I wanted and never gain weight, so the fact that I loved sugar and ate high fat foods loaded with hydrogenated oils, colors and preservative didn't worry me. In fact I never thought about it. Within one week I had gone from being an active vibrant person to being exhausted.   Once I was diagnosed, I quickly changed my ways and my symptoms abated. I am so grateful to have my health today and really feel that this is one of the easiest ways for me to share the gift of good health. We do so much for our bodies from the outside. We shower and shave, brush and floss, go for manicures and hair treatments, wear nice clothes and expensive perfumes but we do not often think about what is going on inside our bodies and how to clean them from the inside out.
